This small project in North London was informed by the principles of simplicity and honesty.
The project involved creating open plan living accommodation at ground floor, and a complete refurbishment to the first floor, including the removal of a large chimney breast to gain additional space within the second bedroom.
Whilst simple in form above ground, the rear wall of this permitted development extension sits above a lateral Thames Water sewer. The wall is built onto bridging beam and pad foundations that sit astride the sewer.
The project was completed in mid 2020
